-- Terminus 1.62 (Vicarious Visions): Realistic space combat simulator and epic sci-fi role playing game set in the Solar System. Version 1.62 fixes little bugs with the docking sequence, game loading, and others. Updater from full retail version is 1.7 MB, updater from version 1.61 is 850 KB (more info).
Game Updates (Japanese): -- Ace 1.0.8 (Candy House): Card game collection including 28 solitaire games and 63 games played against computer. Seventh Installment of Romance of Three Kingdoms Series Released: Koei* has released Sangokushi VII. Sangokushi VII is the latest installment of the strategic conquest simulation and roll playing game series based on Romance of Three Kingdoms, the most popular ancient Chinese story. Player takes a role of one of 620 heroes and gets success through management, conquest, diplomacy, and other actions. -- Combat Mission: Beyond Overlord 1.03 (Battlefront.com): Squad Leader-type WWII realistic turn-based tactical war simulation game featuring full 3D view. Version 1.03 improves security of the play-by-email format (both player must update), improves the tactical realism by correcting several game conditions, changes/adds Quick Battles options that now allow random settings, and includes many other improvements and fixes. Updater size is 1.6 MB.

-- Kenzo 3.1 (ICP): Yahtzee dice game for up to 6 players. Demo size is 3.0 MB (more info). The price of full version is reduced to $10.

-- Terminus 1.61 (Vicarious Visions): Realistic space combat simulator and epic sci-fi role playing game set in the Solar System. Version 1.61 fixes little bugs with game loading, HUD display, and a Mars mission. Updater from full retail version is 1.7 MB, updater from version 1.6 is 928 KB (more info).

-- Terminus 1.6 (Vicarious Visions): Realistic space combat simulator and epic sci-fi role playing game set in the Solar System. Version 1.6 adds several weapons/targeting controls, improves the cockpit interface, optimizes the multi play protocol, fixes bugs with AI/mission scripting, fixes several crashes, and includes many other improvements and fixes. The Sims Released: Aspyr Media has released The Sims. The Sims (developer: Maxis, porting: Westlake Interactive) is a unique home management and daily life simulation game where player takes a role of a Sim, imaginary people in the simulation, and manages a family while experiencing daily life and various events (game info). It features flexible game play with a variety of characters, items, and commands. Also, included are fully customizable house using the design/landscaping tools and data exchanges via photo albums and family stories. Simple Tile-flipping Puzzle Game "Macipata": Muscat's Mascot* has released Macipata*. Macipata is a simple tile-flipping puzzle game where player flips some of 5 x 5 tiles in a certain pattern and makes all of them into face up. It features easy game play and voice data by a voice actress Mari Kitamura of Tenshino Haneno Kai*, an amateur voice actor production. File size is 922 KB*. Expo Keynote Speech: Halo Confirmed, Apple/Microsoft to Create Porting Company: Steve Jobs of Apple Computer and Ed Fries of Microsoft has announced their plan to create new Mac game porting company and confirmed upcoming release of Halo. The new company is led by Peter Tamte of Bungie Software Products and will port various game titles from Microsoft. The upcoming titles includes Halo, epic 3D sci-fi survival action that has been in pending situation since Microsoft's acquisition of Bungie Software Products; Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings, the sequel to the popular real time strategy game; Links LS 2002, the newest version of the realistic golf simulation game; and Microsoft Flight Simulator. Online Column-style Hexagonal Puzzle Arcade Game "Burning Monkey Puzzle Lab": Freeverse Software has released Burning Monkey Puzzle Lab. Burning Monkey Puzzle Lab is a column-style hexagonal puzzle arcade game with the theme of chemical experiments. It has 3 game modes; Color Reaction to match colors of individual tiles together to remove them like Puyo Puyo (or Skittles), Hex Bonding to build horizontal zigzag rows filled with hexagons like Tetris, and Mission Mode to complete several missions from that 2 game modes. Deus Ex Released: Aspyr Media has released Deus Ex. Deus Ex (developer: ION Storm, PC publisher: Eidos Interactive, porting: Westlake Interactive) is a 3D sci-fi futuristic hard-boiled role-playing action adventure game where player, as an antiterrorist agent, explores the dangerous and chaotic world in the future to resist an evil conspiracy (game info).
