I have been to Vietnam and Cambodia for 7 days, participating in a package tour by Hankyu Traveling Agency "Trapics".
As a conclusion, it was a nice tour. I joined it alone, but to my surprise, there were 8 people who joined alone like me.
So I got three friends, two women and a guy. We, these four people, traveled as a group in the tour for 7 days.

The tour went on as follows:
The 1 st day Narita -Hanoi VN-955 (5h40m) WaterPuppet Show
The 2nd day Halong Bay Cruising (2h30m) Pottery Village
The 3rd day Sightseeing in Hanoi. Hanoi to Siem Reup by airplane(2h)
The 4th day Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat and dinner show
The 5th day Sunrise at Angkor Wat, and other Angkor ruins
The 6th day By bus to Mytoh, Mecon River and mini jungle cruising. Sightseeing in Ho Chin Minh city. Dinner show.
The 7th day Arrival at Narita early in the morning.

The local guide in Hanoi. Hanoian language has 6 accents for one word, so his Japanese was not good for us Japanese.

In Vietnam, you can see such housing construction along the road. These are westernized houses. Their traditional houses are built by bricks and houses are narrow at the roadside and long at the depth. The guide said it was due to the tax system during the French colonial period. Tax was calculated according to the width, like in the old Kyoto. The old houses in Kyoto are like "a bed of an eel", we say in Japan.

The sand for construction was taken at the Red River.

The famous water puppet show.

They play the traditional musical instruments.

They use sound, fire, and smoke also.

They maneuver puppets on the water by long bamboo sticks. They hide behind the screen, standing in the water at such deep level. The water is colored green to hide the bamboo sticks to be seen by us.

This is the hotel where we stayed for 2 nights at Hanoi.

This is a building for Daewoo. Koreans are getting well in Vietnam recently. For example, you can see Samsun advertisement and many big Hyundai buses at Hanoi.
